I went through a painting on primed hardboard phase and found that to appreciate them afterwards you have to “float” frame them. I prefer Maple as my frame color of choice so this piece will be float framed in a maple frame. No glass will be added on top. I prefer Art to be able to be touched and breathe and to not have the glare of glass to deal with. Its nice to walk up close to a painting and look at all the little marks, the texture and appreciate all aspects of the work that you cant if its behind glass. This dusky reflection piece is a nice moody sky meets water piece that has a certain feel to it. It reminds me of a vacation spot at night, someplace you went to create memories and bring them home with you. Just looking at the piece brings back all the events that you enjoyed on that getaway.
